NJPCAC promotes and pursues educational and legislative interests that are common to our physician members and the advancement of patient care and access in the State of New Jersey.
The New Jersey Patient Care and Access Coalition (NJPCAC) is a physician driven advocacy group focused on addressing the challenges facing our healthcare system and ensuring that patients continue to receive the highest quality, accessible medical care in the state of New Jersey.
NJPCAC’s membership includes more than 200 physicians and scores of additional healthcare professionals, including urologists, gastroenterologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, nurses, and administrative staff devoted to providing access to quality care to New Jersey residents.

Since it first learned in late April of a surprise announcement by Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield to implement a new policy to impose Medical Necessity Determinations (MND) on various ultrasound services, the New Jersey Patient Care and Access Coalition has been working virtually non-stop to reverse this illadvised decision.
