A statewide collection of multi-specialty physician group practices have formed a coalition aimed at promoting and protecting the highest quality urologic care for New Jersey patients. The New Jersey Patient Care and Access Coalition (NJPCAC) will seek to educate and partner with policy makers, regulators, insurers and other key stakeholders, including patients and other physician organizations, to ensure that New Jersey citizens continue to have access to the highest quality urologic care, including an integrated and comprehensive approach to the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer.

“Urology patients in New Jersey and the physicians and other healthcare professionals who care for them have a new and robust voice that will work to protect and expand access to the highest quality urologic care in our State,” said the Chairman of NJPCAC’s Board of Directors, Dr. Adam Perzin. “NJPCAC’s goal is simple – be a trusted voice on behalf of patients, physicians and other healthcare professionals committed to safeguarding the finest urologic care for citizens of our great State.”

Dr. Perzin noted that, through NJPCAC, multi-disciplinary physician group practices furnishing the full range of urologic services have lent their voices in communicating with State policy makers and regulators about the importance of preserving an integrated, comprehensive model of cancer care treatment for men battling prostate cancer — the second leading cause of cancer death in American men. The physician practices supporting this effort range in size from 12 to 40 physicians and are located across the entire State of New Jersey.
